A successful Account Executive at OutSystems has experience doing deep levels of discovery and objection handling at every level. They are engaged with their customers throughout the sales cycle, from account planning, through the development of the deal, to the close of business, and beyond. They are trusted advisers to the C-Suite and the end users. They are not afraid to present a Disruptive Idea.
Uncover and manage new selling opportunities in a geographic territory
Call on and develop relationships with C-level executives across business and IT units
Execute a sales process that validates and qualifies the technical and business requirements of the customer in order to close the business
Articulate the value proposition and be familiar with ROI at a business level to provide to Business Stakeholders
Quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
Hunting mentality, tenacity to close the deal
Preferably someone with an experience managing a team
Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
Government, Finance, Banking, or Insurance vertical experience preferred
Familiarity with selling transformative software and SaaS/PaaS solutions
Understanding of the business issues impacting large enterprise organizations with ability to educate/evangelize and so generate opportunities out of this knowledge
Experience of managing large complex account relationships
Strong network of contacts across enterprise organizations in respective region
Ability to work credibly at all levels, especially at CXO level
Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
Strong customer references
Availability to travel
