The corporate office in Dubai is looking for a bilingual English-Spanish accountant (prerequisite).
Roles & Responsabilities:
To conduct spot checks on operations in the accounting department and advice, counsel, report or rectify problems related.
To ensure all accounts are reconciled and agree with subsidiary ledgers
Assist the Financial Controller on preparation of the following:
Preparation of budgets
Reports required by Head Office
Balance sheet and P&L Owners Account
Update monthly Asset Ledger
Cash flow and monthly bank recons
Co-ordinate month-end stock take
Co-ordinate weekly billing system in debtors
Co-ordinate and reconcile long outstanding creditors/debtors balances
Correspond and follow through on all accounts receivable and payment ledger transactions.
Operate the use of computers in accordance with the computer users’ manual.
Ensure timely submission of financial reports due whether on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly, half-yearly, etc.
All outgoing reports must be sighted and confirmed by the financial controller before they are sent out.
