About the Role The Administrative Assistant will support the Editor in Chief and the senior staff of Vogue Arabia for all administrative needs and will act as a key support liaison between teams at Nervora. The administrative assistant should have previous professional experience that shows capabilities and competence in an operational and support role. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a key part of one of the world’s most storied publishing brands, witness the launch of Vogue in a new region, and be intimately involved with the fashion industry. This position will be based in Dubai.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Maintaining and building positive relationships with all parties that interact with Vogue Arabia and its senior team.
Managing the schedules and calendars of senior team members including coordinating business appointments, arranging internal team meetings, and booking other business related activities.Organizing travel arrangements domestically and abroad and creating travel itineraries to keep team members on top of their travel commitments.

Preparing and drafting internal and external documentation and communications.
Ability to work with the editorial team to research content as needed.
Provide regular office management support including but not limited to running errands, keeping the office clean and tidy, clerical duties, document management, and answering phone calls.
Assisting senior staff in recording and submitting expense reports in accordance with internal expense policies.
Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority and serve refreshments to visitors before and during meetings.
Learning the fundamentals of the editorial process through support of the EIC and executive staff.
The Right Candidate (About You): The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences, and qualities:
College Degree from a recognized institution of higher education
1-2 years or professional experience demonstrating competence in an operational and support role. Experiences in a similar previous role, client services, or hospitality strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills including a proficiency in English both written and orally. Since you will serve as an intermediary between our senior team and outside parties, your communications need to exhibit a strong level of polish including an excellent telephone and email manner.
Technologically literate and proficient with the internet, computers, Apple products, Google, and MS Office.
Exhibits a high degree of discretion and good judgement given the sensitivity of the information and the people you will deal with.
Strong time management skills with the ability to self-direct and self-manage.
Consistent, amicable and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude, dedication to excellence, and a heavy lean for action.
Superior organizational skills, detail orientation, and punctual.
Relentlessly resourceful and a strong steward of effectively utilizing internal resources.
