Admission and registration coordinator consider as a reference of students information / statistics required by the management, Departments and the outside authorities. The person will be in charge of managing day to day functions of the Admissions & Registration related including the collection, processing, revision, rendering of admission decision to applicants. Develop, design and maintain written materials to disseminate knowledge and awareness about various policies and procedures. Responsible for assisting with recruitment activities and for evaluating transfer of credits whenever required.

Specific Admission and Registration Coordinator responsibilities are outlined as follows:
Handling and controlling all the admission procedures.
Coordinating the placement test dates with the responsible person from the departments (CESL&GED).
Coordinating and following up the issuing of the ID cards for new students.
Customer Service (answering phones, replying e-mails, provide students with full information and details).
Providing leadership in day to day operations of the Admission office.
Communicating with the students through UD-mail. Updating them with the new information, deadlines and different issues.
Handling all communications with the ministry of higher education for recognizing the High schools and transcripts from overseas universities.
Revising new applicants files.
Updating students’ information.
Preparing the basic requirements for the concerned coordinator to open files for new students.
Participating in registration process during the registration and Add & Drop weeks.
Preparing the text and students contact numbers for the SMS purpose, and then send them to the concerned coordinator to send them.
Entering and updating the data of the class schedules.
Creating Mid-Term exam schedules. (Distribution of rooms and invigilators).
Participating in managing evaluation process.
Preparing the student’s status statistics / reports to all departments of the universities and also to the outside authorities (embassies, ministries, Etc.).
Handling booking process for rooms/labs on the system.
Working in a portion of the preparation process of the graduation certificates.
Handing the graduation certificates for the students.
Collecting the forms of Re-admission, incomplete mid/ final exams, Grade appeal form, changing information, Graduation clearance form.
Position Required Skills
Bachelor degree required.
Good command of both English & Arabic language.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and courteously with Students and colleagues.

Database management skills including report writing, ability to import data, maintain records, and generate reports.
Proficiency with office technologies (Microsoft Office, Internet navigation skills).
Keep the university Registrar fully apprised of progress and problems.
