A white Rolls Royce pulls up in front of the hotel entrance, out steps a tall blonde lady in a dress by Alexander McQueen and matching color shoes with the trademark red sole of Louboutin. About you: You will best succeed if you are the kind of person who easily displays emotional maturity and sensitivity in dealing with others, especially being sensitive to guest needs. Operates with integrity and objectivity at all times. Is extremely organized and demonstrate good planning skills. You should also be proactive to address and resolve issues quickly and seamlessly. You should also have first class people skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a multi-national, multi-cultural environment. Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and to deliver results within a pressurized deadline driven environment.
Some of your responsibilities are likely to be (but not limited to): –
Handle the housekeeping department in the absence of the Housekeeper –
Supervise and train the housekeeping employees to ensure standards and methods of service are maintained –
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and implement maintenance and repair work. –
Vacant and ready rooms are to be verified to be ready for sale. –
Inspect and maintain cleanliness of all public areas, pantries, garbage and back areas. –
Ensure that the budget of the department is adhered to, and that costs are controlled. –
In charge of the contractors working under housekeeping supervision.
Qualifications & Experience: –
Previous experience in a similar role for 3 years –
5 stars hotel background is a plus –
Holding a degree in hospitality Management –
Pre-opening experience is a plus –
Computer literate experience: Micros, Opera, Microsoft Windows, etc.
