Our client is a long-established Contract Logistics and Freight organization and they seek an experienced Business Development Executive based in DXB to develop new business opportunities in the local UAE market across 3PL, Land sea and Air Freight Forwarding markets
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the minimum experience required is:
5 years Developing Corporate business to Africa.
7 years Freight Forwarding
Advanced Excel and computer literacy
Key Accountabilities include:
Trade Lane development
Implement Sales Strategies for specified Trade lanes
Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum % of those into revenue generating business
Promote the services offered by the Company – 3PL Land, Sea & Forwarding
Provide Market Information and Feedback on Competition
Secure new customers and maintain and develop existing accounts
Meet and exceed target set on Gross revenue and gross profit
Follow up on Leads and quoted business
Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations on the execution of customer service contracts
Manage existing accounts of the company
Maintain records of customer details/ sales visits in CRM
Identify potential customers and register opportunities in CRM
To follow internal policies and procedures for the department which Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
