Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
Develop positive relationships with clients.
Collaborate with marketing on a segmented campaign-based approach to demand generation.
Ability to work on multiple campaigns at the same time and prioritize work load.
Manage pipeline and forecast accordingly.
Arranging meetings with clients and give product and service descriptions.
Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase.
Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.
Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
Monitor sales metrics (Daily, monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Suggest actions to improve sales and service performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Proven 10 years work experience as a Sales & Business Development manager or Sales & Business Development executive in the following industries: Corporate banking and Insurance.
Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
Proven track record of bring in new business and a natural ability to drive sales.
Proven track record in establishing and developing successful long-term relationships, via email, telephone and social media.
Ability to demonstrate effective questioning and active listening.
Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent business sense.
Good time management ability as you need to beat deadlines.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
An extremely positive attitude and good negotiating skills.
An understanding of the principles of marketing and capacity to set and meet targets.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Experience from the Insurance industry is desirable.
