Role Overview

The changing landscape of Banking Regulation and renewed focus on Group Strategy for International Customers requires significant focus on delivery of the Target Operating Model (TOM) around delivery of Business/Proposition to provide a foundation for Business Growth.

As a key International Market, MENAT strives to deliver value added products, proposition and processes for HSBC Group’s internationally minded customers.

As Business Development Manager for MENAT within the Acquisitions and Partnership Team, the role will be principally centered on around 6 key objectives:

1. Engagement – Coordinate all International activity across all MENAT markets. Update key
RBWM stakeholders and tracker to ensure accurate reporting of key activities.
2. Growth – Implement a framework to track and monitor the effectiveness of performance
against International corridor growth plan and AOP. Record next stages and undertake
research into structure to aid the ongoing building of group relationships.
3. Communication – Provide regular updates as required to support the Head of International.
Lead creation of regular International communications relating to growth progress updates
and development of key corridors and Region.
4. Onboarding – Provide support to frontline in the onboarding of clients to ensure that agreed
SLA are met.
5. Business Readiness – Adoption of the International TOM strategy framework.
6. Regulation – Act as SME for Cross-Border policy and guidelines and other regulatory
requirements that impacts International corridors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serving as a liaison with others within the company providing efficient and comprehensive
planning support, maintaining a positive and flexible approach.
Handling and supporting CAM activities such as event planning, WebEx, and project follow up.
Coordinate with Marketing/Regulatory Compliance//Legal to ensure smooth delivery of key
Propose process changes to enhance the International Corridor performance and acquire
required approvals.
Actively participate in meetings and come up with detailed action plan.
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and
transparent operation of financial markets.
Experience & Qualifications

• University graduate with experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Stakeholder
Management experience is desirable but not essential.
Past working experience in a relevant role or working within a Support/planning Function.
Previous experience of delivering excellent customer service.
Consistently achieved objectives set for them and taken action to improve their own
Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of sharing information
effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner.
Worked collaboratively with others colleagues, supporting them when possible.
Extremely competent in Excel/Word/Power Point Presentations.
