The Business Intelligence Analyst is part of DT One’s dynamic and lean Business Intelligence function and reports to the Business Strategy and Operations Director at DT One.
We are looking for a highly driven and self-motivated individual who is truly excited about creating meaningful impact through data driven decision making. In this role you will combine a startup mindset with the scale of an industry leader, providing you with hands on exposure to how key organization decisions are made. You will be expected to work closely with the business and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. The role is based in Dubai, and focused on our lend-tech division, but is a global role with stakeholders based in 5 continents.
Key Role Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders across the division to re-define KPIs and translate that into a clear business intelligence strategy
Drive the division wide implementation of Tableau to democratize the access to data
Aid in data-based decision making through the creation and interpretation of insightful adhoc and regular reports from internal platforms
Manage the gathering and analysis of secondary data (desk research, reports) as required
Support all department heads with their analytical needs, to help the business make data driven decisions by extracting, preparing, analyzing and preparing presentations
Work across diverse departments – Sales, Technology, Finance, Marketing etc.
Outstanding degree in business, information systems, economics or a quantitative field
Naturally curious, solution oriented and thrives on quantitative analysis
2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence
Strong grasp of statistics and aptitude for number crunching and data modeling
Experience and ability to communicate insight to a broad range of audiences
Proven stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent Microsoft excel and data visualization skills
SQL knowledge is necessary, Python is a plus
Previous experience with Tableau is a plus
Willingness to learn new reporting tools
