Job Description :
Liaise with Head of Retail to define product range and category mix.
Collaborate with Marketing team to conduct marketing research and harness insights available within the business. Channel the insights into new growth ideas.
Visit pharmacies, key customers and attend relevant conferences and exhibitions to secure new ideas and build new relationships.
Analyse sales of new products, agencies introduced into the business and monitor the inventory levels and assess any risk of write offs. Proactively highlight any risks to the Head of Retail and develop plans to mitigate these risks.
360 degree Product development and management by conducting periodic SWOT analysis for each retail location to gather and analyse sources of profit, high-demand products, competitive positioning, and other such market intelligence. Make appropriate recommendations / adjustments to ensure that products conform with market trends and retain their competitive advantage.
Analyse historical trends in sales to effectively identify market / customer requirements and develop accurate product sales forecasts.
Work with Marketing to execute impactful brand development, advertising and promotional initiatives (product launches, vouchers, and other such offerings).
Manage layout, shelf-spacing, product positioning and arrangement within the pharmacies to ensure efficient, impactful and productive utilization of space and product display.
Monitor and evaluate Beauty Category performance on a weekly/monthly/annual basis, proactively introducing revised plans and activity.
Evaluating the effectiveness of promotions throughout the year.
Actively contribute to the formulation and direction of the retail strategy by providing inputs on customer preferences & sales trends.
Supervise daily operations of pharmacies and ensure achievement of performance targets and KPIs (sales, operating expense, profit margins).
Implement best practices in stock management and control to ensure product availability, and mitigate any potential financial loss and/or risks due to stock loss.
Develop a pharmacy visit schedule and visits of 30 pharmacies per month to monitor customer service levels, obtain customer feedback, follow up on maintenance issues, hear and counsel pharmacists HR related issues.
Liaise with Group Marketing Manager and Property Manager – UAE to identify, assess and execute business development opportunities.
Implement standardised quality management, control and assurance processes across all pharmacies under your supervision.
Implement customer feedback mechanism for each pharmacy to effectively manage complaints and to improve customer experience.
Manage the staff work allocation and lead, develop and train staff for superior performance.
Negotiation with Beauty suppliers.
Responsible for the buying and selling of beauty categories in retail.
Managing the complete process for wholesale and export.
