The Role:

As a Client Relations Manager, Middle East, you will be the regional client facing ambassador for NET-A-PORTER & MR PORTER working along with the global Client Relations team, by developing, driving and owning the complete Client Relations strategy in the Middle East region. You will be passionate about building long lasting relationships with our EIP clients, always looking for new opportunities to elevate our EIPs’ client experience, as well as driving the overall client acquisition, retention and conversion strategy. You will also be responsible for creatively leveraging third-party business relationships and contacts to drive the business performance and growth of NET-A-PORTER.

You Will:

Client relations

With the support of the NET-A-PORTER INTL & APAC Head of Client Relations, you will define and implement the Client Relations strategy in the Middle East region with a view to accelerate recruitment of high potential prospects and increase retention of existing EIPs for both NET-A-PORTER & MR PORTER
Be an ambassador for the CR and PS team in the region, and have up to date awareness and knowledge on our top EIPs
Develop a strong follow-up and ownership of a customer journey to ensure every potential client is converted into an EIP, supporting the Middle East Personal Shopping teams to take this forward
Manage and grow the Ambassador Program in key focus and high potential Middle East regions
Monitor and be accountable for the Client Relations KPIs (Retention, Acquisition and Conversion), as well as propose specific actions plans to improve performance and establish the business as “best in class”
Perform client insights/analysis through the relevant reporting platforms to make business recommendations and improvements
Budget management, cost control and budgets are all up to date and in line with business expectations
Business development

Assess the potential for true EIP acquisition via the EIP Ambassador Program and potential partnerships opportunities externally and via Marketing and PR
Establish successful approaches to closing sales opportunities at events in different markets in partnership with the Middle East Personal Shopping team for both NET-A-PORTER & MR PORTER
Evolve a network of key partners to collaborate on a series of small scale, personal and intimate activities that focus on quality leads over quantity
Work with the Personal Shopping team to ensure we are maintaining leads engaged with product and service, therefore maximizing the conversion rate and migration into high customer value segment
Be an active networker, proactively identifying opportunities to meet potential customers through relevant industry and social events
Team development

Set direct report goals and objectives, proactively assess and manage performance against expectations
Supervise recruitment, evaluation and development of direct reports, maximising individual potential and ensuring succession plans of their career development is in place
Coach the Personal Shoppers to maximise engagement opportunity with new EIPs and potential EIPs
You Have:

Experience in luxury fashion sales, with solid understanding of client development, luxury fashion and lifestyle differences
Results orientation and sales drive, with great commercial awareness and demonstrate high level of business expertise
A proven record or passion for events’ management
Self-motivation, pro- active and possess strong organisational skills
Detail-orientation, efficient and able to multi-task with solid organisational and time-management skills
Work independently in a structured manner
Impeccable presentation and communication skills, both verbally and written
Creative thinking and is someone who works on initiative
Effectiveness on several projects simultaneously
Strong experience working with third party partners to develop events strategies
Strong team player who is able to work across multiple teams and under pressure
The ability to coach and develop team
High work ethic, integrity and reliability with a “hands on” attitude
Strong computer skills
You are comfortable with long haul travel
