The Respiratory Care team is transforming the way in which Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) care is managed and delivered though our non-invasive ventilation and portable oxygen solutions. This means we identifying the pain points for patients, providers and payers and developing deeper insights into the unmet needs of COPD patients. We see a future in which resources and technology are less focused on the diagnosis and treatment of the disease and more oriented to prevention of COPD exacerbations and the slowing of disease progression.
Let’s talk about the team and you:
In this role you will provide clinical and educational support to ensure appropriate understanding and application of all ResMed products and systems by customers; to assist the sales force in support and development and expansion of new and existing accounts through in-services and training programmes. Provide particular support for invasive and non-invasive ventilation and in new ResMed markets. Work closely to develop and maintain high quality support to ResMed’s sleep portfolio, delivering consistently high standards of care, support and service to all customers.
You will need to be able to assimilate complex information on a wide range of clinical products and solutions.You will also need the ability to disseminate such knowledge in a teaching and / or clinical environment to current and potential customers, in an informative, relevant and business-focused manner. You will need to be able to work remotely as part of a field based sales and clinical team, maintaining clear and open communication with all stakeholders to successfully deliver a coordinated territory plan, as well as be able to cover a large geographical area and manage a diary that may have competing priorities in order to meet diverse company, business, customer and patient requirements.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
Work in close partnership with the respective Account Manager/s, Business Development Manager/s, Product Managers and Function Heads to develop and deliver clinical and product training programs to customers in support of ResMed business objectives and local territory plans.
Increase awareness of ResMed’s brand and products ensuring the highest quality training is provided which produces the greatest return on investment of resource and time in the specific account.
Develop positive, professional relationships with key clinical and nursing staff. Ensure that ResMed builds competitive advantage through its clinical leadership and support. Ensure speedy resolution of any issues and that an excellent customer experience is received.
Support of customers as required for initial patient set-up and provision of ongoing clinical support. Support and drive technical and clinical implementation of projects and studies set by the Business Development Director.
Identify and assess new potential business opportunities and agree action plans to develop them with the Head of Sales and Business Development Director.
Actively participate in local territory planning meetings to agree alignment on business priorities and action plans.
Constantly work to develop clinical and technical knowledge to enhance effectiveness and credibility within role and credibility, cementing ResMed leadership in the field.
Assist with marketing activities and product evaluations and launches, including attendance at conferences and local/international congress.
Provide training and support as required to ResMed staff to ensure a high degree of understanding and competency with ResMed products.
