Your day to day
You will be responsible to maximize conference and events revenue for the hotel through pro-active selling and commercial management techniques.
As a Conference and Events Manager, you will perform the following tasks:
Takes inquiries for MICE, BGR and LGR and converts them into sales
Pre and post communication for all related events- working in conjunction with the meeting and events operational team
Contacting clients before they arrive at the hotel to conduct final detailed checks, to be a host on the day of the event, reviewing satisfaction levels and willingness to return and conducts follow up calls to ensure bills are received & correct and to secure the next booking
Achieves meeting and event goals by implementing the set strategies provided by the Director of Sales & Marketing
Assists in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies by analyzing current and potential business and identifying potential business
Displays consultative and value added approach to selling
Monitors productivity and revenues goals by maintaining sales action plans
What we need from you
The ideal candidate needs to be a well presented person, with an outgoing and friendly attitude.
With Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing Administration or related major certifications.
With at least 3 to 4 years experience in luxury hotel international chain in same position or similar role.
