The American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of an Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator.
The fundamental responsibility of the Coordinator is to support the Institutional Effectiveness Office in all related business and operational functions in maintaining an effective and confidential work environment. The Coordinator works with and reports directly to the Director of Institutional Effectiveness Office to ensure accreditation compliance, assessment, institutional planning, research, continuous improvement, and reporting to local and international accrediting bodies.
Accreditation & Quality Assurance:
Serve as a liaison with all academic and administrative units
Assist in monitoring accreditation compliance reporting and timelines
Coordinate the administration of the General Education Exit Exam
Assist in the preparation and review of accreditation reports and requirements
Research and Data Management:
Assist in data management, reporting, research projects, and survey development
Coordinate planning for program outcome assessment plans
Coordinate the development of institutional effectiveness publications, and data dashboard
Assist in coordinating dissemination of data to internal and external stakeholders
General Office Responsibilities:
Manage the Director’s calendar and oversee incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Maintain and enhance electronic filing systems and all Office record keeping.
Facilitate scheduling of meetings, and preparation of meeting agenda and minutes.
Assist in planning for professional development events and External Reviews.
Assist in budgetary processes, including preparation of purchase requisition, tracking of expenditures, and processing of invoices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor degree in an area related to statistics, quality management, and educational research and evaluation from an accredited institution.
4 + years of successful and relevant experience in research and analysis at accredited educational institutions.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in accreditation and quality assurance at the local and international levels.
Experience in survey design, administration and analysis.
Demonstrated skills in writing and reporting with accuracy, clarity and coherence
Experience in using data management systems, and software and database applications, including SPSS, Word, Publisher, and spreadsheets.
Master degree in a relevant field
Proficiency in Arabic
