The Schranner Negotiation Institute, a global leader in supporting difficult negotiations, is looking for a Director of Sales for our new Dubai office. Founded by FBI-trained hostage negotiation expert Matthias Schranner, the institute has become the global leader in negotiation advisory, education, and management.

Our Mission

The core focus of the Schranner Negotiation Institute is one goal: we help our clients to win in the most difficult negotiations. We work for the most prestigious international companies and institutions, supporting them with specialized training and advisory. Our clients are typically involved in very tough, high-stakes negotiations, e.g. strategic procurement, large sales deals, M&A, labor relations, or political conflicts. With our offices in Zurich, New York, and Hong Kong, we support our clients worldwide and across all industries.

The Challenge

Following the rapid growth of our seminars and training business, we seek to hire a new colleague who will head our Dubai office and develop the business unit. This person will be responsible for the MENA business unit and for selling and promoting corporate negotiation programs. This role is central for the future of our Institute: we work with many market leaders, strengthening our own position as the market leader in negotiation excellence. The role is that of a product owner, account manager, business developer, and implementation consultant. We seek to hire an entrepreneurial-minded, outgoing, creative self-starter who is excited about taking the lead to sell, build, and implement the very best negotiation enablement program on the market and can work both independently but also as part of a larger team.

The Job

Identify and secure business development opportunities
Sell our services to new and existing customers, mainly communicating with C-level decision makers and HR departments
Support our clients in implementing negotiation best practices at their organization
Consult, select, and hire the best negotiation experts for our seminars
Improve our negotiation programs based on the needs specified by our clients, e.g. instruction design, assessment tests, virtual trainings, negotiation manuals, trainer briefings, HR implementation support
Liaise with the teams in Switzerland, New York, and Hong Kong on a regular basis to ensure alignment with agreed objectives
Plan, organize, and promote our seminars and events in Europe and beyond
Manage all event logistics including vendor management, registrations, marketing, collateral design, and communications.
Marketing and networking in selected niche markets
Travel approximately 25 %
Your Qualifications

5+ years experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in selling high-end training and consulting services to large corporations
A high interest in sales, negotiation, and education
Strong oral and written communication skills, including active listening and questioning skills
Ability to learn quickly, and work independently, with self-discipline, drive, focus, and flexibility, in a fast-paced environment
Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a team on complex projects
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and agreed upon targets
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain business/client and strategic partner relationships
Experience in consulting firms or agencies is an advantage
Must have experience in the MENA and be based in the UAE
Arabic speaker preferred
