Responsible for overall sales of assigned categories – Consumer electronics which includes Cameras, TVs, Audio, Video, AV accessories, Laptops, IT, Gaming, Home appliances etc. Drive and be responsible for sales including topline revenue, margins and gross profit. Manage relationships with wholesalers and suppliers to ensure wide range availability of products on the site.
Requirements The Profile
Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers” Metrics driven approach will be key to success in this role.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
Experience in ecommerce category managements and sales will be a big plus.
Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in UAE with prior interactions with sellers and distributors is desirable.
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and Arabic is important along with awareness of local retail landscape
7-10 years of experience in ecommerce sales, preferably mobiles and tablets category
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering
Deep understanding of retail landscape along with the right connections and contacts to source products at best prices for the site
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all key aspects of an ecommerce ecosystem
Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
Working knowledge of Arabic language
