The In Room Dining Department is the outlet looking after 294 rooms of the Westin Hotel and providing hotel guests with an outstanding service. The outlet is not only taking care of what hotel guests’ needs and requirements but also liaising with Front Office Department for special amenities to wow the guest.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
To positively contribute to the sales activities within your department/hotel and maximize sales opportunities and to be knowledgeable of company products.
To report all maintenance requirements and hazard in the workplace to your supervisor or manager.
To carry out any reasonable request.
To give full cooperation to any client or colleagues requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
To treat all client and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all time.
Proactively initiates change in the workplace to achieve improvement in quality or efficiency.
Accept and seeks feedback from others, learns from past mistakes.
Sets clear personal development targets which focus on behavioral improvement as much as professional/ technical skills.
To achieve action points arising out of 6 month appraisal.
To report for duty 5 minutes before time, clean and tidy and wearing the correct uniform as per the standard of performance.
To demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high level of commitment.
To move into this position you should have
The selected Candidate should be able to join on 15th September
Tenure in current position minimum one year
Excellent command of the English language speaking, reading and writing
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Outgoing personality is an advantage
Multiple language ability, an advantage
Smart in appearance and well groomed
Good interpersonal skills
Hotel / High school or equivalent education required
Micros knowledge would an advantage
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage
Thorough knowledge of food and beverage
