We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Support Engineer to be based in our Sharjah office.

Reporting to the Regional Field Support Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical support during the installation, commissioning and maintenance phases of KONE and/or non-KONE products. The Field Support Engineer will be an expert in KONE and non- KONE products and solutions and provide timely advice to the KONE Front Lines and Supply Operations.


Provide technical support to ensure customer specification requirements
Provide remote or on-site technical support for installation and maintenance issues
Resolve technical issues identified by manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams, working to ensure products are installed in compliance with KONE’s safety, process and quality requirements, without problems and on a timely basis.
Piloting and implementing new products and solutions
Train local Trainers/employees during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessions
Co-operate with and provide expertise to global and local training centers in training courses
Create quality reports after site visits and list issues which require corrective actions
List all helpdesk issues and forward corrective actions according to KONE process requirements.
Set appropriate KPI to team members
Report KPI on a monthly basis to responsible management
Ensure quick response and corrective action time of technical inquires and training requests
May lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of technical field support specialists.
Follow the safety procedures and rules of customers, partners and KONE.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with good technical understanding of product and service solutions that meet the customer expectations.
Knowledge of KONE and/or non-KONE products
Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, attentive to detail, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service
Demonstrated experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams and matrix management.
Excellent English communication skills.
