Our client is looking to hire a Financial Controller to lead and support all local financial operations for all entities in MENA.
The responsibilities include:
To set up and supervise local finance team include statutory and management reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, taxation, accounts receivable and accounts payable;
Ensure preparation of timely and accurate Financial Reports, financial statements, budgeting, forecast etc
Review of financial information/reports and advise management on variances, trends and irregularities
Manage local treasury function including banking relationship
Provide timely financial analysis of overseas entities ensuring compliances of financials
Advise and align the overseas entities with corporate financial policies and procedures
Provide support other operation divisions and any other tasks assigned by HQ
Degree in Accountancy & Finance, ACCA, CA or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in managerial capacity
A few years of relevant working experience in Middle East and/or Africa in Construction industry is required
Must have good controls and compliance experience
Good Technical Knowledge on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong process management skills is a must
Excellent problem solving, decision making, project management skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsible with strong customer service orientation
Willing to relocate to MENA
