Our client is a leading European provider of Customer Interaction Management Solutions (CIM) with an exceptional pedigree and a strong technical heritage. Their solutions enable global businesses to better engage with their customers across multiple platforms – web, email, chat, call centres etc – in almost any language which gives them a huge USP over their competitors. They have a compelling ROI and have an existing strong foothold in Banking, Insurance, Retail and Public sectors.

The Role

The business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who already has a solid understanding of complex software sales within a global organisation. Ideally this role would suit someone looking to progress to a senior FC role within a growing organisation.

The primary function of this role is producing and ensuring the reliability of the Group’s international financial reporting – monthly consolidated financial statements using French Gaap. He/She will also be responsble for the preparing budgets and monitoring them for all subsidiaries.

The successful candidate will also need to establish the reporting tables and the various analyzes necessary for the proper management of the company.

An autonomous, curious, energetic and experienced individual with a strong background in financial management or similar role you will work closely with the CFO and the Senior Administration Manager.

You will also need to be fluent in both French and English as will need to liaise with offices in France (HQ), Asia, USA and UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Design new activity monitoring charts to optimize the performance analysis of the company.

Produce and analyse detailed monthly reports and KPIs

Preparation of the consolidated budget for each department

Optimise the internal control procedures and information systems (Management Salesforce, Accounting, Salesforce CRM)

Role/Person Requirements:
Sound knowledge and expertise in Finance and accounting specifically within a Software Organisation

Practical understanding and experience using management software such as SAGE, BUSINESS OBJECT or SALESFORCE

Strong analytical skills with an ability to use critical thinking to analyse reports and financial data to management optimise decisions.

Must be fluent in French and have at least pofessional working experience in English.

Highly detailed with organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.

Well versed in IT skills for example Excel, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

An autonomous person with strong communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

Higher Business School, DECF, DESCF, Master’s Degree in Accounting / Management or BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

5 – 10 years of experience in audit or management control within SaaS & Cloud Technology
