The HR Assistant (HRA) is responsible for resource planning, recruitment process, performance management and ensuring compliance with labor requirements. The HRA will track leave, review and document salary history and changes, prepare performance evaluation forms and follow-up with line managers, complete job searches and on-boarding process
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Resource Planning / Recruitment / Compliance
Maintain historical HR records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records, safekeeping of original HR documents.
Review and update job descriptions for all positions.
Follow-up the recruiting, testing, interviewing, orienting, on-boarding and training program in order to efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
Collect CV’s for open positions
Sreen potential candidates
Conduct preliminary interviews
Short-list pre-qualified candidates for recommendation to management.
Perform background check and reference verification.
Prepare acceptance and rejection letters.
Assist in reviewing employment offers and preparation of employment contracts for approval by management
Conduct orientation programs.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements
Maintain records of any HR related claims.
Performance Management / Talent Development
Assist line managers in conducting basic competency assessment and skill gap evaluations
Conduct periodic salary surveys
Schedule and conduct job evaluations in conjunction with line managers
Prepare training and development budget
Monitor and schedule individual performance and merit reviews and evaluations.
Hear and resolve employee grievances.
Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of their benefits.

Minimum 5 years proven working experience as HR Assistant or Associate
knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

Knowledge of HR systems and databases Qualifications
Associate BS degree in Human Resources or related field
Bachelor’s degree in HR is a definite plus.
Knowledge of vehicles auction will be a definite advantage Functional Knowledge
