About the Role:
Perform coordination duties supporting the Learning & Development function of FS Dubai Hotels: Four Seasons Resort at Jumeirah Beach and DIFC.
Be a Four Seasons culture ambassador at all times.
Ownership of L&D internal communications, innovating new ways of engaging with all employees.
Support with the Evolve movement activities throughout the year.
Spearhead onboarding procedures for all staff; coordinate Embark to standard; and ensure mandatory attendance by all employees of Four Seasons Resort at Jumeirah Beach & DIFC properties.
Maintain training records as to which courses have been taken by each employee.
Support Designated Trainer activities.
Trace all due dates for First Day orientation check list and Training Check list.
Maintain the appropriate number of certified Designated Trainers in each area.
Conduct Quality Tests, Standard Tests, and Standard Testing reported
Train, participate & energize staff in departmental shift briefings
Develop in-house programs to meet the changing needs of the hotel and its staff.
Ensure department training goals are set and achieved.
Organize internal training programs facilitated by in-house trainers.
Organize internal training program facilitated by outside trainers (English classes, Red Crescent, Compliance Trainings, etc…)
Manager Workday Learning ; Track department training hours monthly and annual for compliance and statistics.
Track, generate and distribute monthly reports. (Attendance to sessions, training hours, Commitment report).
Order and coordinate the Purchasing Orders of office supplies and training materials.
Distribute and/or organize literature, forms, prizes, cards, etc. to employees when necessary.
Manage Training Room booking/reservation system; ensure that the Training Room is maintained clean and tidy at all times.
Support Internship program by screening CVs, interviewing candidates, process paperwork.
Support Manager-in-Training program administration.
Support the Learning & Development Manager, and P&C Team with any ad hoc projects.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
The incumbent must possess the following skills and knowledge:
University education or equivalent experience.
Previous two years’ experience in the hospitality field preferred; experience in hotel luxury operations would be a bonus.
Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment including word processing and spreadsheet software.
Experience in a Human Resource role would be a bonus, but not a requirement;
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
