Responsibilities *
Word processing; *
Audio and copy typing; *
Letter writing; *
Report writing; *
Dealing with telephone and email enquiries; *
Creating and maintaining filing systems; *
Scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes – shorthand may be required; *
Taking minutes of meeting *
Keeping diaries and arranging appointments; *
Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases; *
Devising and maintaining office systems; *
Booking rooms and conference facilities; *
Managing and maintaining budgets, as well as invoicing; *
Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information; *
Arranging in-house and external events. *
Arranging for sponsors and communicating with different departments / individuals to ensure the event is completed successfully. *
Compilation and submission of CME applications, *
Preparing scientific meeting agendas, *
Coordinating with speakers for collating CVs, abstracts and presentations, *
Liaison with sponsoring companies to make sure the contracts are signed, invoices are raised and monies received in the EMA/Society account, *
Taking minutes of meetings, *
Preparing email announcements to be sent to society members, *
Drafting and preparing letters on behalf of the society.

The ability to plan your own work, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines; *
The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload; *
Excellent oral and written communication skills; *

A pleasant, confident telephone manner; *
Teamwork; *
Reliability and honesty; *
Project management skills. *
Preference will be given to Nurses and candidates with Medical field
Salary: AED 3,000 – 4,000
