What are my responsibilities?

Planning
o Supports definition of procedure and requirements regarding quality management (audit, certification, tests, acceptance); Plans the strategy for customer relationship and communication and information transfer for the project with customers and reaches the mutual agreement with respective representatives; controls on a regular basis the project status with regard to technical commercial as well as qualitative targets, also monitors processes and result quality; Ensures cost forecasting, realizes discrepancies in the project at a early stage, identifies causes for the problems and eliminates them effectively; Informs regularly customers, management, project team about the project status

Project Management
o Estimate the influences and risks in O&M projects on a continuous basis and evaluate the risk involved of subcontractors/departments. Develops an appropriate strategy to reduce the risk of the project. Ensures smooth transition of new Project scope into existing contract by early involvement in design phase, realization and Project closure / handover

Contract Management
o Estimates the consequences of changes in requirements / delivery items / services with respect to the cost, project plan & realization, incoming orders, profit realization. Influence the wording of the contract, ensures that results of risk management are realized in the form of contract and examines the contract (cooperate with experts) as and when required; Negotiates with stakeholders about the changes, delivery items, services and documents the changes with regards to the contract; seeks approval for conclusion of the contract and order release; Prepares back-to-back agreement / contracts; Controls & manages the KPI fullfillment and optimization of the respective contracts

Result / Profit -responsibility
o Runs ongoing project / services as per the contract (and beyond) within time, budget and quality frame. Assures – with support of the superiors / management the economical success and satisfaction of the client. Represents the project / contract / SDME as project manager in all decision making

Risk Management
o Knows risk factors – sources, of the project, collects the relevant data and makes them available as well as ensures appropriate communication and escalation; Estimates the influences and risks in the project on a continuous basis and evaluates their financial implications; Evaluates the risk of involved subcontractors / partners; Develops the appropriate strategy to reduce the risk of the project and realizes them e.g. claim generation, tracking as well as defense

What do I need to qualify for the role ?

4-5 years of professional experience in management, processing, installation, engineering development and business administration in different functions
4-5 years’ experience in successfully leading mid-sized / major projects
Has successfully led a project team at least for 5 years of more than 30-50 staff
Has worked in international teams : Mandatory
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy with a strong focus on quality of work
