Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator based at our client office ADNOC in Abu Dhabi for 36 months assignment.
The successful candidate will be responsible in the following
Coordinate between different program stakeholders including but not limited to end users, Program Management and Group Management.
Assist the Program Manager in carrying out the day-to-day management of the program.
Follow up of the pending issues with to ensure progress of critical items and areas of concern within the group and the divisions.
Support the implementation of program-wide activities and initiatives.
Arrange and provide assistance for meetings and project co-ordination and perform the assigned tasks from the meetings.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials.
Coordinate with program team in the monitoring and review of project control procedures.
Monitor and compile data for periodic reports and updates required from departments and ensure data are reported on time and to the satisfaction of the program manager.
Follow up and update the Processes / Procedures with the assigned team(s) to ensure their timely achieving and report the same periodically to program manager.
Review project documents and evaluate the completeness for the respective phase to proceed to the next phase through supporting the program manager in phase gate reviews.
Other relevant duties as assigned by the senior management.
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Able to work under pressure and on tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, project management and organization skills.
Highly proficient computer skills including using applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
