Masters or Bachelor’s degree within technical/engineering field, social science, humanities or scientific field.
8+ years experience as an engineer/architect plus 3+ years experience within project management.
Middle East experience preferred.
Must know Full Microsoft suite including MS Project.
Supports the project team ensuring team and individual responsibilities are clearly defined.
Adapts own leadership style as required when taking specific actions and decisions which may have an indirect project or functional impact.
Actively demonstrates the importance of producing project deliverables based on the five Ramboll capabilities of: Client Focus, Ramboll Values, Functional Capabilities, Collaboration and Result Delivery.
Demonstrates integrity when delegating problem solving tasks to project team members and when working with the project team to resolve them.
Contributes to the production of a master Project Management and project integration plan document/s and has oversight of any sub project integration plans which clearly indicates the project’s baseline and how associated processes and procedures will be implemented, managed and adhered to.
Provides assurance that the project remains valid, and that confidence remains in achieving its profitable deliverables.
Ensures the project scope of work is clearly defined, and documented.
Ensures the project team are aware of the impact of any contractual changes to project scope, requirements, schedule, resources and/or budget.
Considers solutions to non-complex project challenges and seeks advice from others when addressing complex project challenges.
Contributes to the production of an overall project and/or sub project work plan which includes for key milestones and dependencies and the agreement of decision and stage gate packages.
Ensures project progress is monitored and analysed using techniques/approaches such as Earned Value Management.
Contributes to estimates required for project and/or sub project resources and supports the management of resources.
Ensures all project and sub project estimates are reviewed and revised.
Manages financial and commercial project and/or sub project components in line with the basis agreed.
Ensures a forward looking assessment of the project economy is maintained and takes pre-emptive measures to minimise the risk of commercial or financial deviation from plan.
Ensures the project’s or sub project’s procedures and controls are managed in line with appropriate governance and HSEQ requirements, regulations, standards, policies and processes.
Contributes to lessons learned reviews at key project milestones and/or as part of each decision gate package.
Identifies and prioritises stakeholder interests and produces a stakeholder management and/or engagement plan.
Maintains stakeholder commitment even for the most challenging of stakeholders.
Advises on potential tactical approaches to difficult client, project team and/or stakeholder negotiations.
Implements plans to diffuse potential conflict, either with the client, project team and/or stakeholders.
Ensures the contract and any contractual variations are administered in accordance with its terms and conditions and also in line with any associated Ramboll internal policies, processes and/or guidelines.
Represents Ramboll and the project professionally when dealing with the client, stakeholders and other interested parties and in operationally supporting other members of the project team.
Responds efficiently and directly to the needs, requirements, expectations and/or concerns of the client and/or other members of the project team.
