Job Title : Project Manager – Application Services

Responsible for end-to-end delivery of critical and core IT system projects from contract initiation until successful closure and sign-off.
Should possess good knowledge on Enterprise Architecture skillsets and the understand how the individually handled projects/systems exist in the EA and its relationship with other systems in the vast digital landscape.
Provide critical inputs in finalizing the technology and vendor selection for the solution components, based on industry analysts reports and prior working experience (on solutions from competing vendors).
Manage multiple contractors, sub-contractors and vendors across all stages of project execution.
Monitor the project health and execution on regular day-to-day basis.
Report project status summary across various levels of reporting hierarchy set as per the communication guidelines.
Manage and monitor dependencies to ensure the dependencies are met on time and not hindering the project activities.
Identify, review, monitor and manage Risks/Issues of the projects.
Identify stakeholders, analyze and define roles and responsibilities matrix (RAM) for the project.
Must ensure project Initiation and kick-off projects successfully.
Define and review project deliverables. Track the deliverables on day-to-day basis.
Develop an understanding of customer business requirements, and conduct process-level business analysis as required.
Facilitate and conduct workshops at the customer site to gather, document and obtain approvals of functional and non-functional requirements from the customer.
Co-ordinate and ensure that the detailed system design with relevant use-cases, custom configurations & systems interfaces, for a reliable and secure solution, covering all system components (hardware and software), are documented, validated and submitted to customer for approval prior to implementation.
Provide technical coordination, guidance, support and directions to the technical team members as required during the engagement. Shall assign tasks and supervise work of technical team members implementing the solution
Review and technical evaluation of Key project deliverable documents, Project Management Plan, SOW, Requirements Documents, Technical Specifications, Design Documents, etc and ensure timely customer approval on the such key document deliverables.
Direct and manage project execution across all phases of the SDLC.
Manage and control project scope, ensuring 100% delivery while ensuring no scope creep.
Ensure that the implemented software and hardware solutions is successfully tested against all functional and technical requirements and ensure proper quality assurance and quality control.
Plan and manage UAT sessions including develop (if required) and review the use cases. Active participation during the UAT along with the customer and vendor and effective tracking of issues to closure.
Manage change requests through the change Management Process.
Execute Project closure activities.
Conducts periodic project audits to ensure conformance on scope, time, cost and quality.
Ensuring the implementation team has sufficient technical expertise for each key technology for efficient design, architecture, testing, operating and improving provisioned infrastructure and security services.
Review application operations support policies and AMC terms. If required, define SLA, Severity, Priority and ensure smooth transitioning from delivery à Hypercare à operations. Should ensure submission of all key relevant documents in order to ensure smooth transition from “delivery” to “operations”.
Shall commute to customer sites as regularly as required
