Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for professional competency development across the KONE organization. At KONE, we have a desire to constantly learn and improve, and this includes expertise in products and methods in elevators, escalators, and advanced people flow solutions for those who install, maintain, and modernize equipment in our portfolio, with the aim of improving the flow or urban life. L&D plays a key role in all parts of the organization, helping staff, operatives, and management to improve their skills. We have to learn faster and in new ways – L&D facilitates this learning.
To complement this strategy we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Regional Field Trainer for Escalator Technology to be based in our Dubai office and covering the KONE Middle East & Africa (KMEA) region. S/he will be responsible to plan and conduct new and existing KONE methods trainings to field operatives, proactively prepares the operatives for coming product changes impacting methods and tools, identifies competence development needs, and develops and localizes technical trainings to various target groups.
You will be an expert in the Installation and Maintenance methods of Escalators providing product/solution expertise to the business with the aim of improving the people flow. The Field Trainer enables and supports the field operatives to achieve KONE safety and quality standards, to fulfill customer expectations and to reach productivity targets.
You need to be an individual with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understanding how to partner and collaborate with the business with the ability to align conceptional thinking and detailed actions.

Are you the one?
University degree holder
Minimum 3 years of Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting experience with Escalators
Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service
Strong Technical skills – Mechanical and Electrical
Strong Computer knowledge – this position uses various KONE IoT tools, CRM, SAP and other KONE IT systems
Strong English Communication skills – the Field Trainer will often have to conduct trainings and presentations or translate the information into an easy-to-understand document, so the ability to communicate complex data, and to write and speak clearly, are important
Attention to detail – You need to be an individual who is precise in their work, able to spot errors, and vigilant to ensure that any problems are corrected for accurate results
