Role Overview

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Brokerage, Structured Products and Platform for all countries in the MENAT Region. Hold oversight and accountability for delivering the Investment strategy for the subjects listed above, with subsequent revenue delivery. Own all Regulatory, risk and governance for the Brokerage Investment business, working closely in conjunction with 1 st and 2 nd line colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the development & distribution of Investments Products as part of Financial Planning solutions for RBWM in the MENAT Region.
Establish HSBC as the preferred service provider for investment products in MENAT Region.
Develop the overall Product, Pricing, Marketing Strategy, Client Journey’s and coherent offering of investment products to help the Bank increase market share and grow business volume across the Region.
Align the Investments Proposition for RBWM in MENAT Region with best practice across the globe.
Grow investment AUM substantially while maximizing investment revenue as part of overall RBWM net fee income.
Regularly interact with frontline colleagues to understand and elevate pain points, whilst developing their understanding of the Investments, and its importance to our business and clients.
Personally own all Regulation, Risks and Governance associated with the Investment business across the Region. Deliver timely execution of both internal and external requirements, meeting all deadlines and process improvements.
Develop multi-channel solutions that allow the client to buy products the way they desire.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor Degree
6-10 years of working experience, of which a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in product development, sales or marketing in Wealth products

Experience in coordinating investment products activities/sales/training/IT/financial planning in the Wealth business
Evidence of strong results orientation and performance management success.
Experience in both developing and developed markets.
Proven track record in working in multi function projects.
Experience of identifying and successfully integrating product manufacturing
CFA qualification will be advantageous
