The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Oversees 410 + Villa’s – Construction Supervision and project management. Participating in establishing and implementing the Project Management Plan and procedures.
Leads and manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of the risk management plan.
Review and comment Contractor proposed site organization, key personnel CV’s.
Review and monitor in a timely manner, the Contractor’s proposed construction equipment and manpower histogram and advise COMPANY of any shortage.
Establish documented procedures to Overview and comment on proposed Sub-contractors, vendors, material, shop drawings and any other transmittal by Contractors. Any deviation from project requirements shall be properly reported to COMPANY Management addressing any possible Time and / or Cost Impact associated with it.
Ensure Contractor Compliance with its Contractual obligations concerning Design changes, Trend Notices etc.
Regular visits to Project site for global monitoring of site activities in respect of Quality, Safety and Progress and advise COMPANY representatives of findings, area of concern and corrective action
Lead the team to Evaluate all request for Information (RFI) as submitted by the CONTRACTOR.
Ensure staff involvement and implementation of Field Quality Control procedures, Safety and Progress aspects.
Deep involvement in Contractor transmittals addressing Construction Methodology. Statements, Project Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Schedules and compliance with Project objectives.
Lead staff in final inspection of work and preparation of Punch List. This activity shall be fully coordinated with the end user.
Lead staff in reviewing and assessing of the Close-Out Report submitted by Contractor.
Make sure that As- Built drawings, vendor and equipment warranties, O&M Manuals, Spare Parts and Training Programs as submitted by CONTRACTOR are reviewed by all disciplines and verified against Project Requirements.
Make sure that all MS, QCP, ITP, RA, and Records as submitted by CONTRACTOR (after assessment) are reviewed by all disciplines and verified against Project Requirements.
Making sure that Material Approval have been submitted by CONTRACTOR as per Schedule and by using the approved forms which are filled by all necessary information, and that these parts have been reviewed by the relevant discipline Engineers.
Work Location: Al Mirfa, Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE.
Working Hours : 8 hours/ day ( 6 day / week)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Degree M.Sc or B.Sc in related Degree (Preferably in Civil / Architecture / Construction Management ).
A minimum of 15+ years’ of extensive work experience in Construction Supervision & Project Management for large number of Residential Units / Villa’s and related Infrastructure, with reputed clients.
Construction management in an established engineering management consultancy.
Strong knowledge in contracts for design and construction specifically: FIDIC
Experience and track record in managing related projects within one or more specializations ( Especially related to Building and Infrastructure Projects)
P-M-P Certification is an added advantage.
