We are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant Manager for the Middle-East and Africa region, managing the Sales Consultant team supporting that region.

RESPONSIBILITES

Sales Consultant Manager for the Middle-East and Africa region, managing the Sales Consultant team supporting that region.

As Manager, ensures that operational policies are followed and that business and technical objectives for the region are achieved.
Manages complex projects that require technical and business expertise.

Manages and controls activities related to the technical sales support for the customers in the region, encompassing products to offer, solution pitching, gathering of requirements, defects escalations ..

Focus on best practices and process improvements ensuring effective execution of operational plan while meeting Corporate requirements.

Interface to the key customers in the region to discuss the network evolution namely VoLTE and 5G CORE in order to influence and steer the technology strategy and technical choices (Cloud Native vs NFV, …).

Develop trustful and seamless relationship for the mid/long term business with the key customers of the region

Cross Pillar (Signaling, Policy, Session Delivery) thought leadership to align messages and directions towards the customers and internally.

Tight relation with Product Line Manager of the different pillars.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Expert level knowledge of Fixed and Mobile Voice/Data networking environments; specifically IMS/VOLTE/Roaming/Interconnect/RCS/STP/DRA/5G core centric applications.

Expert level knowledge in the design and deployment signaling protocols (SIP/DIAMETER/HTTP 2.0), architectures (3G/4G/5G core and IMS) and applications.

Expert level knowledge and understanding of relevant IMS/EPC/PCC/LTE/5G core… 3GPP & GSMA standards requirements.

Expert level knowledge and understanding of Network Function Virtualization and CNCF Cloud Native architecture.

10+ years experience in the telephony, IP, Signaling, VoIP and/or networking industries.

Prior experience in supporting sales team selling system level products and services to Telecommunications Service Providers requiring complex strategic, solution selling skills.

Fluent in English and French languages.
High level of enthusiasm and passion for market and business development

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Technical field.

Travelling is expected, up to 50% of the time, to support the team members and executive customer meetings.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
