About the role:
With an appetite for growth and a passion for connectivity with its customers, our client is looking for a dynamic, innovative and passionate Sales Development Manager with a focus on Warehousing & International Freight, to drive new business in a fast growing and still emerging geographical market. Based in Dubai, this is a highly strategic role for the company and reports directly into the GM.

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for: *Revenue generation from business opportunities in warehousing as well as freight forwarding, to be obtained from new and existing customers including customer retention;*Account management for a current portfolio of sector customers as well as product / service portfolio diversification*Preparation of business models/plans, periodic sales forecast, contract term-sheets and service level agreements;*Identification and assessment of new opportunities and solutions development;*Monitoring and analyzing sales activity against goals and targets

Key to this role will be the individual?s ability to work across business units and maintain close working relationships within all internal departments, sister companies, strategic partners and other stakeholders with whom the business has touch points in its operation.

About you:
This role requires a sales professional who wants to be part of the big picture. A mature hunter/challenger mentality, you will understand the end-to-end process of your service; the financials; the KPIs; the key relationships; client negotiations; customer service; industry direction; delivering your promises, demonstrating accountability, learning from your mistakes, and above all ? the desire to be the best.

You will have excellent analytical skills, make timely and appropriate decisions, be an excellent planner/organizer and be a results oriented team player.

Experience required: *3 years? experience in a sales role*Demonstrated experience in Project Logistics & Freight with a good grasp of Supply Chain principles and processes*Experience in the Freight Service industry*Excellent communication skills and a professional approach*Market knowledge with the ability to identify customer needs and challenges*Degree qualified in a relevant discipline*Fluency in the English Language and currently residing in the UAE
