The company has been aggressively marketing their brand of innerwear with leading Film Stars as their brand ambassadors. The company started in 1978 today boasts of being the fastest growing Innerwear Company in India with a CAGR of 25%. A PAN India presence with close to 750 distributors and over 100,000 retailers makes the companys distribution channel the largest in the country for innerwear. The Company now plans to extend its operations in the Middle East and North Africa Region.
The company has deep rooted ideals that guide it in its day-to-day activities and operations. Made from innovative fabrics and crafted in the latest patterns to suit the customer needs perfectly, styled with vibrant colors and patterns the Company has multiple brands in the market for Innerwear, Vests, Sportswear, Party Wear, Singlets and Thermals.
The Responsibilities of the Sales Manager Apparel Distribution Middle East & North Africa Region include :

Channel Sales or Channel Management:

Identify, recruit and on-board financially strong reliable channel Distributors, resulting in deeper market penetration and reach in the Middle East and North Africa Region

Manage the Distribution Channel in MENA Countries

Ensure Distributor compliance with Distributor agreements, Distributor profile, and empanelment details.

Ensure Sales & Operations Team to achieve Targets

Execute Rolling Sales Plan to achieve product wise targets

Execute joint business plans with Distributor to meet sales goals.

Drive Distributor hiring, targets, incentives programs and engagement at various levels.

Educate Distributors about product portfolio and services offered.

Manage sales and marketing activities for Distributors to generate leads and revenue.

Review the operational performance of the distributors

Annual Business Planning, Budget Control, Revenue generation

Drive marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.

Evaluate Distributor sales performance and recommend improvements.

Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.

Develop positive working relationship with Distributors to build business.

Keep close watch on developments in marketplace and competitor activities.

Ensure that information about new products and enhancements are communicated to Distributors.

Address Distributor related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues when escalated


Team Management:

Plan and assign goals and tasks to the MENA sales team.

Train, motivate and guide the sales team.

Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.

Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.


Planning, Research and Strategy:

Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market share

Develop new sales strategies and techniques for business growth and profitability.

Understand customer needs and suggest changes in products to meet these needs.

Identify potential markets and ensure that strong relationships with existing customers are maintained

Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business.

Identify strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.

Monitor and analyse marketing and sales reports

Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.

Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Deploy the Sales resources to ensure best ROI.


Desired Candidate Profile:

MBA Marketing 10 to 15 years of Experience in Sales and Distribution of Apparel, Textile, Casual wear, Fashion wear or FMCG Products in the Gulf or MENA Regions

Proven Experience in handling Sales Teams & Distributors

Excellent commercial and business experience

Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making

Excellent people skills

Communication and Analytical skills is a must.
