Tigerspike Dubai is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with the ability to dive into solving complex business challenges for our clients.
Being a part of the conversation from the start, you’ll be responsible for researching, defining and communicating project requirements. Collaborating with UX & UI designers and software engineers (web & mobile), you’ll use your analytical and creative problem-solving skills to help shape, design and create solutions that address key business needs.
A successful Analyst at Tigerspike is comfortable when faced with uncertainty and instinctively apply systematic approaches to complex situations, structuring and ordering inputs to create a coherent, compelling story. With knowledge of business models, technology and user-centred design, Analysts act as servant guide and change-agent to Tigerspike clients, and team members, rapidly identifying, qualifying and envisioning opportunities.
Who are you?
You’re a tactical thinker, capable of analysing the real world and distilling what you see into a credible business case or plan. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and how they relate to the project and product. You’ll make data-led decisions and use analytics to underpin recommendations.
You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst and you master Jira, Confluence and Analytics software. You’re ambitious, and a self-starter who shows perseverance because you’re hungry for results. You’re a great listener, you communicate clearly and don’t quiver in front of clients. You are able to work autonomously and as part of team. Your colleagues trust you and your integrity is untouchable. A willingness for occasional travel to our other Global offices, sometime for periods of up to 1-3 months at time, would be advantageous. Also, you’re so friendly and fun, everyone wants to be you!
You have experience in the following areas:
Working in both an Agile and Waterfall environment
Business modelling and Process analysis (user-flow diagrams, experience storyboards, site map architecture diagram)
Requirement gathering and documenting
What’s the job:
Knowledge and experience at delivering with agility is key to this role – structuring requirements to deliver for impact and value while keeping the overall objectives in sight. You must be adept at working in a cross-discipline project team and taking ownership of keeping project backlogs in optimal shape. Some other key responsibilities include:
Interface with key client stakeholders to capture, document and replay requirements
Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements,
Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing.
Facilitating workshops, conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
