The Global Tyger Group is looking for talented individuals to serve as an authoritative expert on doing business in your own country, working remotely as local consultants to advise and assist our clients on growing their business into your local market. This consulting role is ideal for those who are ALREADY EMPLOYED and have the desire to earn additional income on the side from contracts that we send your way. We also happy to consider recent retirees, or those looking solely for contract work.
About Global Tyger Group
Our company was formed by three international business executives who realized that many of the companies they dealt with were only earning revenue in their domestic country, despite the vast growth potential that they had.
The question was: why wouldn’t they expand their market reach?
Usually, the answers had to do with being intimidated by the unknowns of markets they were not familiar with, a lack of internal expertise in international business, a limited tolerance for risk, and that it simply seemed to be more trouble than it was worth. These concerns, while natural, were barriers to growth that our company’s founders knew could be overcome — affordably and with lucrative results.

Responsibilities and Duties
Client Contract Fulfillment
Our head office contacts our consultants when we have clients that need advice or assistance in growing their business to your country. We will tell you about the client and what their business need is, discuss an approach, propose a payment structure for working on the file, and together we will provide the client with a great solution.
Our consultants also earn revenue through finding companies in their local market who would like to grow to new markets using Global Tyger’s services. We provide the materials and our consultants bring the potential clients to us to discuss how we can help. If we move forward with that company, the consultant receives a generous share of the earnings.
We rely on our consultants for their language expertise in translating any materials or correspondence that pertains to their local market. We also rely on our consultants for ‘quick opinions’ on questions that we may have about your local market or your particular area of expertise.
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent English skills (written and verbal)
Fluency in the local language of your country
Senior-level business experience
Post-secondary/University education; graduate degree an asset
Broad network of contacts in your local market
Ability to research and advise on a client’s competitors in your market
Diverse understanding of requirements for a business to operate, market and/or distribute in your country
Proven ability and attitude for rolling up your sleeves and getting it done
Broad experience/relationships with local governments, trade policies, business services, etc.
Understanding of e-commerce
Understanding of product distribution (shipping, receiving, customs)
Ability to present or sell if required
Ability to network on behalf of a client
Experience working with companies from other countries an asset
Payment to consultants can include flat fees, hourly amount, or commission and depend on the individual project and client.
Global Tyger’s consultants are eligible for the ‘Prowl’ program, which gives consultants reduced rates on products and services that are arranged specifically for our consultant team through our clients and partners.
