We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive
Almed Retail is a UAE based retail investor and operator that owns and franchises brands in food & beverage and fitness and leisure sectors.
We seek global and home-grown concepts and work collaboratively with entrepreneurs and founders to operate and expand their business locally and regionally by combining their experience with our knowledge, resources, network and real-world experience.
Today, Almed Retail operates 6 outlets for JJ Chicken across the UAE and 2 fitness facilities for GoldBox Fitness in Dubai.
Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy and plan to drive forward marking objectives, in co-ordination with the Business Development Director, and present it to the board of management.
Ensure the marketing plan is executed within the budget and agreed timelines.
Conduct monthly market research studies, identify current market trends, monitor competitive activity and identify consumer insights to formulate marketing proposals to adjust the overall Marketing Strategy.
Identify, create and implement effective marketing initiatives to promote Almed and the brands under its umbrella that would lead to sales generation.
Work with Brand Managers (F&B and Fitness/Leisure) to develop and implement strategic marketing tools and brand launches necessary to support and drive sales for Almed outlets.
Manage the F&B department’s marketing activities, promotions, sales and costs to ensure that department profits are maximized.
Conduct weekly meetings with the F&B Manager, Brand Operations Manager and outlet team to gather data and discuss outlet performance.
Liaise and support F&B Brand Managers with developers and real estate agencies on marketing activities and potential advertising space within their developments to increase the company’s brand awareness.
Drive the execution of marketing campaigns, events and brand loyalty programs for the brands, and provide post campaign reports.
Communicate details of all campaigns and promotions in a timely and professional manner to F&B/Brand Managers, brand operations managers, and outlet team.
Manage all tasks related to the production of marketing materials such as print material, and promotional items. This can include liaising with designers, printers and external agencies addition to arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials to brand outlets.
Develop, implement and maintain a digital and social media strategy and launch an online platform for Almed and its related brands.
Develop engaging, creative and innovative content for distribution to marketing platforms and online media like regularly scheduled social media posts, marketing campaigns and marketing collateral which enlightens audience and promotes brand-focused messages.
Maintain corporate content of Almed and its related brands and ensure consistency on websites and all other communication platforms.
Develop and build relationships with PR, advertising and media agencies, real estate agents/developers and social media influencers to maximize branding opportunities.
Build, maintain and update a good customer database for all marketing applications
Qualification and Experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising
3-5 years of experience in Marketing; of which minimum of 2 years in the U.A.E and F&B. Experience in F&B is a plus.
Proficient in Various Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word); ability to deliver strong PowerPoint Presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Advanced communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Knowledge of marketing trends and best practice
Good presentation, reporting and communications skills
Fluent in English, Arabic is a Plus
