BABA, by offering both the traditional cuts of meat you would expect, and dishes cooked on our original Turkish grill, will not be your usual steakhouse. With an elegant yet cozy interior, a stunning terrace with an outdoor bar, a fully open kitchen and chef’s table, BABA will allow you to share dinner with your family, friends and colleagues in a modern lounge atmosphere created by curated music, bespoke cocktails and amazing food cooked by our Turkish Chefs.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
To report for duty as per schedule, clean and tidy and wearing the correct uniform as per the standard of performance manual
To strive to anticipate client needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance client satisfaction
To oversee the waiters, captains during service and offer assistance when necessary.
To maintain all food and beverage service standards.
To greet guests on arrival, offer menus and drinks.
To take the orders and be fully conversant with the menus, offering suggestions where possible.
Ensure that the presentation, quality and quantity of the food is up to the Waves restaurant standards and remain so.
To carry out any duties as may be requested by the Manager in his absences.
To carry out any other supervisory, administrative or service related tasks as may be assigned.
To assist all other F&B Departments in Le Meridien as and when required according to business needs.
To attend departmental communication meetings, trainings and to ensure that all staff operates in line with the instructions received
To report any maintenance defects to the engineering department and follow up.
To act according to the complaint handling standards and procedures.
To acknowledge returning/regular clients.
To comply with hotel and company mandatory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment and to ensure that members of the team are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with the requirements
To give full cooperation to any client or colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
