Currently working or has worked in a similar position.
1 – 2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels or resorts is preferred.
The Spa Receptionist proactively welcomes guests, is knowledgeable about treatments, products and services offered as well as pricing, and scheduling.
Positive attitude and contributes to an inspiring work environment. Team work.
Actively works with peers and lead receptionist to build relationships based on trust and acceptance.
Neatly wears assigned uniform; demonstrates proper personal hygiene and reflects grooming standards of Four Seasons.
Applies the quality of discretion and maintains strict confidentiality at all times. Follows PCI, safety and privacy procedures while handling guest’s and associates details; adheres internal Spa policies and procedures.
Understands all safety procedures related to spa, fitness and tennis equipment. Responds properly in any Resort emergency or safety situation.
Reports maintenance deficiencies, members concerns, in-house guest comments, glitches, etc. to Assistant Spa Manager or Lead receptionist (during ASM absence) or Manager on Duty (RAM if Lead Receptionist is absent).
Has knowledge about set up, equipment, products, treatments, packages, membership offers and special current promotions of spa and fitness including benefits, indications & contraindications.
Handles spa and fitness bookings, gift certificates, membership and retail sales as well as opening and closing procedure (followed by reports) on a daily basis.
Meets/exceeds retail, spa and fitness monthly targets.
Manages spa software bookings in order to maximize guest satisfaction (complying with FS standard) and business opportunities (spa utilization), while reducing gaps and business turn away.
Covers fitness reception and ensures that all collaterals are available.
Ensures all spa collaterals (promotional material, price list etc.) within reception area (spa lounge, spa and fitness reception desk, pantry, corridor) are up-to-date, sufficient and neat (according to Four Seasons Standards).
Keeps spa reception area (spa lounge, spa and fitness reception desk, pantry, corridor), magazines, food and set up neat, clean and quiet at all times.
Maintain retail items and tester display (cleanliness and items to be placed in order).
Arranging and maintaining spa and fitness store rooms.
Ensures mutual cooperation, proactive communication and adequate support to other departments within the Resort as well as other Four Seasons properties.
Verifies the presence of attendant, fitness and therapist teams.
Flexible with schedule according to business requirements.
Performs additional tasks or projects assigned by Resort or Spa management team.
Promptly replies to all enquires via emails, FS Messenger, telephone calls etc. according to Four Seasons standards.
Confident with Microsoft Office package, spa software and other system operation at the Resort (maintain database, copies and distributes materials). Operates the computer, copier, fax and credit card machines, processes outgoing mail and produces all Spa reports as required by Management team.
Completing opening and closing reports and submitting them to finance department according to the procedure.
Proactively following up incorrect transaction with finance department.
