CORE JOB DESCRIPTION
Electrical Design using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills.Meet clients and lead meetings according to the project stage.Authority transactions such as submissions, approvals and various inquiries related to project(s).Production of drawings or Revit Modeling along with the teamwork of draftsman.Supervision of the drafting resource and provide drafting solutions when needed, make necessary review and correction & guidelines. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS Traveling to the various sites to complete physical inspections and site surveys. Prepare and maintain project documents like correspondence, minutes of meeting, notes etc.Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.Specification writing along collaboration with different disciplines, often including those from other engineering disciplines either in-house / contractors or client side.Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques. Make necessary site visits and execute site supervision as when required.Take part in project management issues and assist project manager to achieve accuracy while planning and scheduling in accordance to project deadline.Keep on learning new skills as per modern practices in the relevant field such as Revit MEP and update other disciplines organization wide.Assist HR Manager in technical interviews during recruitment of staff in mechanical engineering department.
UAE Driving license and own car. – Completed at least 10 projects of some considerable repute at least 5 in UAE. – Should have hands on skills in AutoCAD or Revit MEP (preferable). – Atleast 15 years of over all experience in design, additional experience in supervision would be considered as an added advantage.
Education: Graduate (B.E. Electrical)
Skills: AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferable), Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, MS Outlook, ASHRAE certified (preferable) & Detail Designing skills.
