Position Description: Vocera is looking for a hardworking Systems Engineer to support our Middle East and UK regions, with the primary focus being the Middle East. SE’s are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with channel partners and the Vocera sales team as the key technical advisor and product educator. You should have the ability to articulate Vocera’s technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. SE’s can identify all technical issues and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of our sales lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Assist in crafting Partner onboarding strategies, documenting and fulfilling partner and customer training needs
Audit the Channel partners technical evaluations and consulting with them on optimal architecture design for the customer
Listen to prospects and customers to understand, anticipate and exceed their technical needs
Work with the Area Sales Managers in persuading prospects and customers that the Vocera product will best satisfy their needs in terms of functionality and technical fit
Qualify the prospects infrastructure via onsite wireless analysis using Ekahau Survey, WiFi Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer tools
Assist the channel partner in designing the Vocera architecture for the customers deployment
Develop and deliver high-level technical product demonstrations showing how Vocera will meet customer needs
Build and maintain a close relationship with customers and channel partners
Solve customer problems by working closely with other members of the team and colleagues from a range of departments such as: research; design; development; production; professional services, distribution; quality assurance; as well as senior company managers
Provide feedback to Marketing Roadmap and offering field recommendations to the design of new functionality
Dedicatedly respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Competencies

Experience and familiarity of Business Process Management desired, application server experience ideal
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Software application delivery
Strong organization and analytical skills, with ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
Deep understanding of back office (databases, management tools) and front office (workstations, software distribution) technologies
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with customers, partners and dynamic multi-functional teams
Strong presentation skills with high attention to detail and can expertly respond to voice mails, emails, RFPs and when submitting reports
Self-starter and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent
CWNA, CWSP, CWNE preferred
5+years of meaningful experience in technical sales or presales role with a minimum of 2 years enterprise 802.11 Wireless and LAN/ WAN networking experience
Experience with SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony preferred
Background supporting channel sales and partners preferred
Hands-on experience in Wireless design and Surveying, decoding sniffer traces, windows server architecture and virtualization
Experience in designing / administering controller based wireless solutions preferred
Proven experienced with PKI infrastructure design
Six Sigma, Business Process Improvement training, a plus
60% of travel throughout the Middle East and UK
