This role works with TMs to close new business. They provide solution direction and demonstrate value to prospects through calls, presentations, demos, workshops, and other deliverables. Assists marketing to improve brand awareness and works with other teams such as AGS and ADMs to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen the product and overall solution.

Solution Consultants are product experts who work with customers to demonstrate that assyst can meet their business needs both today, and in the future. The SC works to understand the customer’s pain points, business drivers and challenges so that they can use their in-depth knowledge of industry best practices, and Axios products to put together a compelling value based solution tailored to their needs. This solution will be presented throughout various meetings, demonstrations, workshops and proof of concepts that the SC will be responsible for managing and delivering.
Working closely with their sales counterparts, the SC will be responsible for providing technical wins in the sales cycle.
Providing solution and technical level advice to New Business Sales people in sales planning and during customer meetings
Expectation of extensive customer site meeting commitments in order to build deeper understanding of requirements and expectations that can then be positioned in Axios sales proposition and business case. (Assumed high level of travel)
Developing and delivering customer specific presentation of Axios solutions and how these address customer needs.
Identify projected financial and business benefits that will be delivered to customers through implementing ITIL® based solutions from Axios.
Configuring Axios product offerings to allow demonstrations of software to be aligned to customer specific requirements
Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Communications or IT-related degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience working as an ITSM software implementation specialist or consultant
Minimum of 5 years of customer facing experience in a software support or sales capacity
Skills and experience
Extensive experience in business software applications and presenting the benefits that can be delivered
Expert knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM)
ITIL® Qualified to Foundation level
ITIL© Qualified to Service Manager Level
Service Management solution set experience ideally with technical foundation in similar applications to those provided by Axios
Experience of working in an software company
Track record working in sales environment for software vendor or similar organization
Experience working in pre-sales or services for software vendor in ITSMITIL® space
Ability to demonstrate complex software concepts and product capabilities in business relevant manner
Understanding of ISO COBIT standards or other IT best practice concepts
Extensive experience of developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
Practical experience working in customer environment in IT Service Management or complimentary disciplines
Strong customer interactions skills to be credible and trusted in sales cycle
Delivery experience implementing ITSM solution or similar solution set.
Well organized and focused on results, motivated and works without constant supervision
Attention to detail and creative in methods of presenting solutions
Expert communicator, with extremely well developed skills in listening, building rapport, presenting and producing written communications
