Working in Technical Support the Technical Support Engineer will provide first class pre and after sales technical support to ESET customers by focus on quality working and customer satisfaction.
Provide technical and customer support to ESET customers and partners, by answering queries, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Document and record all activity and communication with customers over telephone and email in the company’s CRM system.
Deliver pre-sales technical presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to ESET customers and partners.
Demonstrate feasibility of ESET products solutions during the qualifying process, confirm the products meet the prospect’s requirements, and assist sales in technical qualification.
Responds to after-hours support queries during assigned rotation and takes accountability for ownership and escalation of all after-hours issues during assigned rotation
A degree in IT related discipline
Fluency in English (verbal & written)
2+ years relevant experience
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them
Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams
Expertise with Network Installation, Administration and Management, Network Performance Monitoring and Analysis.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers Active Directory and Group Policy
Good working knowledge with IT security technologies (Anti-Virus, Malware Detection, IDS/IPS, Proxies, Firewalls).
Knowledge of network communication protocols and troubleshooting
Experience with Disaster Recovery projects & solutions
A working knowledge with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-v etc.)
Working knowledge with competitors’ products
Basic knowledge of Linux
