Monitor and troubleshoot the system alerts, escalate critical issues, and follow up with various parties through service restoration.
Troubleshoot and respond to customer issues and provide timely update and resolution to customer according to SLA process.
Develop and improve on technical knowledge base and documentation.
Improve on system performance by identifying problems, recommending changes.
Participate in on duty rotation during weekends and public holidays when required (once every 6-8 weeks).
Be involved in pre-sales activity with customers and Sales team when required.
Skills and Experience
Minimum diploma degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills in English, additional language will be an advantage.
Follow through and attention to details.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and follow processes.
Demonstrate motivation to learn new skills and technologies.
Good understanding of web Services, API and IP based protocols.
Understanding/Experiences in Unix/Linux environment.
Understanding/Experiences in PostgreSQL/MySQL or other database systems.
Understanding/Experiences in scripting languages (Perl, Shell).
Knowledge in Telecom industry is a plus.
