We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Events Manager or Marketing with hotel experienced to join our team and assist the department in generating new business for the hotel, achieving our financial and customer satisfaction goals.
Your key responsibilities will be to
• Provide an efficient and pro-active service, achieving budgeted Sales revenue and customer satisfaction
• Fully utilize the information systems in place producing a detailed database of all sales enquiries
• Ensure all sales opportunities and future leads are followed through to fulfill budgeted goals
• Actively promote and sell the facilities through client show rounds and familiarization events
• Utilize guest feedback developing services and procedures that enhance guest satisfaction
• To work closely with the sales team to communicate key messages and strategic offers to target accounts
• Train and coach of his/her team according to the standards agreed upon within the hotel. He/she is also responsible for the training of his/her team in obtaining the necessary specific skills and demands needed as a sales/service consultant.
• Set the qualitative standards for the operation and work within the team.
• Knowledge of local market will be an advantage
• Excellent presentation and strong relationship building skills
• Well organized with good communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong account management skills
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience at a similar level within hotel
• Natural proactive attitude and excellent motivational skills
• Demonstrate your success in setting and achieving budgeted targets
• Team spirit, assertive and self confident personality
