Fonda Global Facility Management and Building Maintenance are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance and Facility Management Engineer cum Business Development Manager with minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field.
Candidate must hold a Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or Civil Engineer. The applicant shall have experience on maintenance of MEP and Civil works.Should possess communication skills and excellent spoken English and Arabic language. Should preferably already be located in the UAE and willing to relocate to our Sri Lanka office if needed.
– Bachelor’s Degree (ideally engineering discipline)
– Hands-on facilities management and building maintenance background. Essential to have MEP knowledge.
– Must have recent UAE FM experience.
– Min 5yrs experience in Business Development and FM Engineer
– Ability to develop, define and articulate Strategy business plans
– FM industry awareness and commercial orientation
– UAE market and competitor knowledge
– Budgeting & costing skills
– Ability to prepare business cases, write reports and procedure/process manuals
Job Skills Require:
The successful candidate will manage daily operations, meet with maintenance sub-contractors, meet with building materials supplier, oversee all preventive periodical maintenance schedules and ensure all Facilities Maintenance logs are met and compiled into electronic copies.
Manage and maintain the strategic planning process & Coordinate the development and implementation of plans to support the strategic vision and direction established by the Board of Directors.
Provide plans & assist in identifying appropriate strategy to drive growth initiatives
Plan, communicate and discuss guidelines and procedures with employees to ensure responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are defined and understood.
Provide guidance and leadership to department employees to ensure effective and efficient flow of work
Direct and oversee the activities of the company, aiming at identifying, analyzing and recommending specific business opportunities for the profitable growth and diversification of FM.
Monitor and control all maintenance activities related to appointed buildings and keep records for the management.
Develops and maintains maintenance budgets and costs. Notifies management when facility maintenance costs are not following budget detail.
Develops, reviews and periodically updates maintenance program schedule, maintenance works hours, recording and reporting systems to ensure work orders completed within appropriate deadlines.
Coordinates and be responsible for general periodical maintenance services of any type.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Prepare and make set up a database for maintenance to all appointed buildings including necessary re-commissioning by the third side and to recommend any required schedules.
Prepare list of proposed maintenance contractors to do the annual maintenance contract
Prepare and supervise maintenance contracts
Coordinates and be responsible for implementation of any improvement, modification and/or rectification work required following the recommendation of the owner.
